PlugIn Development Kit available soon!

We are currently working on a PlugIn Development Kit ("PDK") that will allow you to build your own WinAce PlugIns. The PDK will be made available as freeware.

In the meantime, please check out the existing PlugIns, MultiAce and xSelect.
After installing a PlugIn, a new item will be available in the "Tools" menu of WinAce.

MultiAce (Freeware)

MultiAce is a useful PlugIn for WinAce that compresses each subdirectory below your current directory level to a separate archive.

xSelect (requires licenced version of WinAce)

With xSelect, you can turn WinAce into a powerful backup utility.

The extended file selection allows to mark files or directories for compression. By storing these selection settings in project files and creating shortcuts to the project files, backing up your files becomes as easy as double-clicking with your mouse.

Please note:
xSelect requires a licenced copy of WinAce!
While it will let you make your file selection, it won't commence with the compression process when running from an unregistered copy of WinAce.
